Vanderpump Rules fans saw Katie Maloney and Stassi Schroeder as the best of friends. They did have several bad bouts with each other, which turned into a full season of not speaking. Yet, they found their way back, and Katie was even named Stassi’s daughter’s godmother. Unfortunately, things took a turn, which will all play out on House of Stassi. Katie Tells Stassi How It Is
Stassi Schroeder was the alpha dog in her friendship with Katie Maloney, and she knew it. At the same time, when Katie drank too much tequila, it was never a pretty thing. Regardless, the two women were able to mend their fences, even after a whole season of not speaking on Vanderpump Rules. Stassi was ultimately fired from the show after Season 8, but she and Katie maintained a friendship. Katie threw Stassi a small wedding to Beau Clark and was named their daughter, Hartford’s godmother.
Then, they had another falling out and had to work really hard to reconnect. This is something viewers will see on Stassi’s new Hulu series, House of Stassi, premiering in July. In a clip, Katie, 40, lets her former bestie know how she feels about her. Moreover, she is setting her straight on what it takes to truly be in her life:
“You just make your world smaller and smaller and smaller to the point where it’s like … if they didn’t come out of you or they’re not married to you or they’re not on your f**king payroll, they don’t get to be in your life.”
This happened while the two ladies were alone, but afterward, Stassi is shocked yet proud:
“D**n this b**ch is good.”
It also appeared that Katie Maloney may not have fully signed on for House of Stassi just yet. However, after she laid it on the line, Stassi knew she needed her more than ever because she was real:
“And that’s the type of truth-telling we need on reality TV. I need her to do this show.”
Are Fans Ready?
After seeing this clip of Katie Maloney and Stassi Schroeder, some fans were thrilled to see them back together. They were so happy that Katie was on television again, but others felt House of Stassi had a scripted vibe:
- This looks so beyond scripted and awful. Especially stassis sister. The sisters awful acting is what will most likely get me to not bother with this show. I see it getting canceled after one season
- These women raised me!
- I missed Stassi and Katie sooo much super excited they are glowing
- I would watch Stassi’s show, but this video just made me put on the brakes. Can’t stand. Katie.
