General Hospital Spoilers: Tracy’s Revenge Could Cost Chase Everything
General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest there’s a good chance that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will get Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) fired from his PCPD job, which will leave him no choice but to accept Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) chief of staff position.
GH laid the groundwork on this storyline last week, when ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) warned the beat cop that if he failed to follow protocol on one more case, he’d be a goner.
During the Friday, June 12 episode, Tracy and Willow were arguing at the Q boathouse, as the Quartermaine matriarch was calling out the congresswoman on her recent actions.
Tracy let it be known that she sees through Willow, and knows the viper she is, while Willow lashed back, stating that Tracy was just jealous since her kids loved her and Tracy’s couldn’t stand to be near her.
Things hit a climax when Tracy grabbed Willow by the arm while they were near the lake.
When Willow saw Chase walking towards them, she purposely jumped into the lake, claiming Tracy pushed her.
Sadly, Chase thinks Willow is still the “sweet as pie” nurse he once knew and believed her story over Tracy’s and arrested his grandmother-in-law, right on the spot.
The General Hospital promo for the week of June 15-19 reveals an interesting clip of what’s set to unravel in the days ahead.
Tracy is shown at the PCPD, outraged while she tells Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and ADA Turner that Willow threw herself into the lake and “this fool” fell for it (as she points at Chase).
The idea of Chase arresting Tracy and wasting PCPD resources on this is outrageous and would warrant dismissal, considering Chase’s terrible decision-making lately.
First off, it’s a “she said-she said” situation. One may argue that Willow is a congresswoman; however, as a Quartermaine, Tracy is a very prominent member of the community the two ladies are at a level playing field.
Plus, even if Tracy had thrown Willow into the lake, she caused zero bodily harm, so there was no reason to bring her in.
Tracy will raise a stink this week over Chase’s actions, which will finally give ADA Turner a solid reason to raise a stink herself over Chase’s dismissal.
Turner is still quite upset that Chase made the PCPD look bad during Willow’s trial and believes he tampered with evidence that could’ve secured Willow’s conviction in shooting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Fans know that Chase had nothing to do with the disappearing video; that was Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) handiwork, but since that hasn’t been proven, and likely never will, Turner is on a witch hunt that has Chase’s name written all over it.
Chase still put his job on the line and conducted an investigation outside of the department, which also made his colleagues look bad.
He was stripped of his detective duties, and demoted to a job he doesn’t exactly love (or even like).
Chase has been on the fence about accepting Willow’s chief of staff position, and now that he’s jobless, he’ll be given a good reason to say, “yes”.
He may also accept out of spite against Tracy, since she’s been vocal about him staying away from his ex-wife.
General Hospital spoilers imply that Chase working with Willow might be the nail in the coffin of his marriage to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), so how will BLQ react to the situation?
