General Hospital Bombshell: Sidwell Names New Marco Killer Suspect – Is This Person Working for Sonny?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) will have a mystery to tackle now that Cassius Faison aka Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) has brought him some important news.
Cassius insisted the timeline didn’t add up for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to be Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) killer.
Multiple witnesses saw Jason outside Danny Morgan’s (Asher Antonyzyn) school, where he headbutted Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and ran to avoid his arrest.
Jason then landed on Pier 55 and was ultimately taken into custody following Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) shooting.
Jason is covering for Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), but that’s not what matters here.
The point is Cassius said if Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was behind Marco’s demise, then he must’ve had someone other than Jason carry out the hit.
Sonny is innocent since Cullum was actually responsible for stabbing Marco himself, but Sidwell is pretty fixated on Sonny’s guilt at the moment.
That means Sidwell is presumably going to try and figure out who else Sonny might’ve had working for him.
That brings us to Ethan Lovett’s (Nathan Dean) comeback in the April 17 episode.
It looks like Ethan will kick off his return stint by reuniting with his half-sister, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening).
However, Ethan will eventually share scenes with Sonny as well, so that should bring a conversation about their mutual Sidwell problem.
Since Sidwell nearly killed Ethan’s mother, Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), Ethan will want revenge.
Of course, Sidwell may assume Ethan’s feeling vengeful the moment he learns Holly’s son is in town, especially if he spies Ethan’s interactions with Sonny and even Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).
Sidwell might see Ethan acting all chummy with the Corinthos clan and suspect Ethan was secretly already in Port Charles the night of Marco’s stabbing.
It’s easy to imagine Sidwell settling on Ethan as the person who perhaps carried about what he believes were Sonny’s orders that night.
Ethan’s father was Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary), who was like a brother to Sonny.
Sidwell may make that connection and assume Sidwell teamed up with Ethan on this Marco plot, even if GH fans know that isn’t the real story!
General Hospital spoilers say Sidwell will inevitably learn the Cullum truth sooner or later, but he may point the finger at Ethan in the meantime.
