General Hospital (GH) spoilers imply that Ava Jerome (Maura West) could have a secret agenda where Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is concerned.
Ava has been getting very close to Sidwell and sticking her neck out on the line for him.
Some fans may argue it’s because she’s attracted to the shady criminal and wants a romance, but what if she has another motive?
During the Wednesday, April 15 episode, Ava paid Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) a visit, and the topic of Sidwell’s new flight path for his helicopter came up.
Laura griped about the situation; however, Ava tried to smooth things over between Laura and Sidwell.
She argued that the man was dealing with the passing of his son, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo), and was merely diving into work to handle his grief.
She also reminded Laura that pushing through the flight plan and building goodwill with Sidwell wouldn’t be a bad thing since the zillionaire always got what he wanted, anyway.
This is when Laura warned Ava about the dangers that Sidwell brings. Ava fluffed it off, as she’s done this multiple times with others in the past when they’ve advised her of how perilous Sidwell is.
After her meeting with Laura, Ava headed to Wyndemere to tell Sidwell what she did.
Sidwell wondered why she’d do such a thing, and Ava told him she understood his grief and wanted to help smooth things over for him and make his life a little easier.
Sidwell acknowledged he wouldn’t forget how Ava stood by him during one of the most difficult times in his life.
Ava is no fool. She’s been around the block more than once, and she can spot a dangerous man from a mile away.
Is it that Ava has a soft spot for bad guys … or does she have a plan where Sidwell is concerned?
The fact that people continue to warn her about Sidwell’s world, yet she remains firmly planted in his orbit, could be that she’s up to something more nefarious.
Ava may simply be pursuing Sidwell for a romance. After all, being Sidwell’s main gal would mean she’d live in the lap of luxury. But what if she has higher hopes?
Ava may not only be thinking about being Sidwell’s girlfriend, but she may also be working overtime to be his right-hand woman where his organization is involved.
The fact that she’s showing off how diplomatic she can be with her connections, versus seducing him, seems to hint that Ava wants far more than to slip between the sheets with Sidwell.
Ava is no stranger to organized crime, growing up in the mob world, and she acquired a certain skill set along the way.
Is she hoping to dive back into this? As Ava suffered with money issues several months back, securing her financial freedom by entering Sidwell’s world and working by his side could be the goal here.
