Her on-and-off dysfunctional dynamics made it immensely harder for her to be a teen mom. Regardless, she persisted and even continued her education. She recently made news as she addressed the young girls glorifying teen pregnancies after watching TLC’s Unexpected.
“Being responsible for another human before you ever have to be responsible for yourself is hard,” she remarked. She recalled having to be responsible for herself and her daughter at just 18. “Live your life. Be responsible for yourself for as long as you can,” she added to her statement. She has now made another statement outlining the challenges in her relationship.
Online fan page thetlcunexpected has featured her emotional post. Her post contained a few pictures of her little family and a heartfelt message. She detailed how difficult it can be to sustain a relationship as parents at such a young age. “The stress of money, exhaustion, missed experiences, and growing up too fast can turn love into tension, and small issues into big fights,” she stated.
She remarked that when there’s “barely any time to sleep, let alone communicate,” it is easy for partners to drift apart rather than grow closer. Moreover, she noted that love is real, but not everyone can manage such a significant responsibility at this young age.
