Fans are happy that The View is back for another season after rumors that it was getting canceled. But some viewers are fed up with one host and think they should be fired. Keep reading to find out who they want to replace.
The View Angers Fans With Response To Jimmy Kimmel’s Suspension
Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night talk show was pulled from the air on Wednesday, September 17. The network suspended the host indefinitely for his comments on Charlie Kirk’s assassination. The ladies of The View didn’t address the shocking infringement on free speech until Monday, September 22.
The ABC daytime talk show made its name by speaking out about what was happening in the country, whether it was political news or celebrity gossip. But they were oddly silent about Jimmy Kimmel.
Longtime fans were disappointed and suspected The View hosts were scared into silence amid speculation that the talk show was next on the chopping block.

Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension was lifted earlier this week, and he returned to the air on Tuesday, September 23.
Fans Demand This Host Be Fired, ‘Would Not Be Missed’
The View is coming up on its thirtieth anniversary soon. The show premiered in 1997. Fans hope the show will still be around to celebrate the huge milestone. But some viewers think the talk show would be better off if it dropped one of its co-hosts.
Along with moderator Whoopi Goldberg, the current roster of The View includes Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin.
Sara Haines first joined the show in 2016. She left in 2018 to co-host Good Morning America. She returned to The View in 2020 as a permanent co-host but some fans are sick of her.
They took to social media to demand that she be fired for her “word salad” responses on the talk show. One fan agreed and wrote, “Sara to me was a lot of fun in her first stint but her second stint has been very lukewarm and has exposed her ignorance.”
Another fan who supported the idea of Sara leaving said, “I mute her every time she speaks. That sounds so cruel but there’s just something about her point of view…empty and almost rehearsed?”
A third fan of The View wrote that Sara Haines “doesn’t add much” to the show. But she’s not the only one who should be fired. A longtime fan made a shocking suggestion. “It’s actually time for a revamp for most of the panel honestly.”
“While I appreciate Joy and Whoopi, and the many years they have dedicated to the show Joy tends to talk during others people’s turns,” someone else said.
The talk show just started Season 29 earlier this month. ABC hasn’t officially renewed it for Season 30 yet. Should the milestone season start with a completely new panel? Sound off in the comments.
