SUNDAY TERROR Horror as families discover ‘ɪɴғᴀɴᴛ’s skᴜll’ buried in park while they hunted for Easter eggs
A FAMILY has discovered possible human remains during an Easter egg hunt.
Children racing to gather brightly colored eggs stumbled upon what appears to be an infant’s skull during the hunt on Sunday, authorities said.
Cops were called to DeForest Park in Long Beach, California, a suburb of Los Angeles, at around 5pm, the Long Beach Police Department said.
Aerial footage captures the opened plastic eggs scattered across the ground, just feet away from what appears to be a partially buried skull.
The family found the skull and other smaller bones that appeared to belong to a baby, a witness told KCBS.
Marc Zaldana described the moment he noticed the family’s horrified reactions as he was walking along a path at DeForest Park.

“At first we saw the family there, doing like an Easter egg hunt, but they were freaking out a little bit,” he said.
“I can only imagine, like for them, finding a dead, another kid. Must be tragic for them.”
Longtime resident Jessica Flores said this was the first time she had heard of anything so tragic taking place in her town.
“It hurts because if it’s a child, that’s very sad,” she told Nexstar affiliate KTLA.

Authorities haven’t released any further details about the find.
They were seen covering the bones with a canopy and stayed at the scene until 10pm Sunday night, according to local reports.
The Long Beach Police Department told The U.S. Sun it is still investigating the discovery site and awaiting a report from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.
