General Hospital star Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and his wife, Michelle Lundstrom were at the Daytime Emmy Awards. Although the ABC soap did really well by winning the Outstanding Daytime Drama Series award, for Steve, it was simply hilarious and rather embarrassing. Read on to find out why.
The Very Funny Reel
Steve and Michelle stood in front of a poster with them on it at the big event. In their reel on Instagram on Monday, they explained how he made a bad error when he prepared to go there. In their “Emmy Recap,” Michelle spoke about how her man didn’t “need a spray tan” because he “regularly tans.” Well, he went ahead with it anyway.
In his caption, Steve Burton had written:
Note to self: Never, under any circumstances, get a spray tan or try on your suit on the day of the event. You’ll end up looking like a Cheeto in karate pants on the red carpet.

The tale continued in the reel and got GH fans giggling. Michelle added, “This year on the red carpet, they used a neon, like royal blue background.” So, it “made Steve look like an orange potato.” Next, she revealed that the photos came out so badly, they can’t “even use them.” That’s despite them being taken by professionals.
Meanwhile, Steve told his fans that he felt a bit embarrassed, because not only was he orange, but his suit was “baggy.” So, he explained that he looked as if someone had taken “Their uncle out of a home and brought him to the Emmys.” Obviously, feeling a bit small, he noted, “That’s what it felt like.”
Steve felt grateful that he had Michelle with him. Was that to share the embarrassment, or make him look a bit better? Well, she laughed a lot.

Amused ABC fans took to the comments and spoke about the real-life Jason Morgan being an orange man. Meanwhile, others discussed how cute they are as a couple. Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) popped up and said, “I mean, I didn’t wanna say anything …… haaaaa.”
