‘Sister Wives’ Kody Brown’s Child Shares Polygamous Dreams

Kody Brown tried to showcase how beautiful polygamy could be as he had four wives and ultimately, eighteen children. Yet, the Sister Wives star’s life came crumbling down when he lost three out of four of his wives. All of his adult children have opted out of plural marriage, yet it seems one may have had hope for that lifestyle. Keep reading for more details on which Brown child wanted to live in polygamy.

Kody Brown’s Child Shares Polygamous Dreams

When Sister Wives first began, Kody Brown’s children were all torn about polygamy. Some of the older children did express a desire to marry into plural families. His child, Leon Brown, whom he had with Meri Brown, seemed very much into polygamy and living that lifestyle. However, the others were not so certain and felt that they would decide when they got older what they wanted and felt was right. Several have since gotten married, including Leon, yet one seemed to want sister wives for themselves.

Mykelti Brown Padron met and married Tony Padron in December 2016. They went on to welcome three children, a daughter and twin boys, and have since moved to North Carolina. The one thing about Mykelti is that she has been known to favor the camera. Fans have noted how much she loves screentime, plus she has no problem exposing her father and his wife, Robyn Brown, for their wrongdoings. Now, she is sharing how she initially wanted polygamy before meeting Tony and had her ideal family selected:

“I had my polygamist family picked out.”

However, Mykelti noted that she never went up to them and pursued a relationship. After she married Tony, the daughter of Kody and Christine Brown Woolley still felt drawn to plural marriage. The Sister Wives star had  considered bringing in more wives to her marriage:

“The first couple of years of our marriage, I wasn’t strictly opposed to polygamy. I was like, ‘We could join. We could do polygamy.’”

So, what ended up happening, and why did they opt not to go through with it? Mykelti explained that she did offer her husband two choices. Moreover, she shared that she only wanted plural marriage for the sisterhood and not for the religious aspect.

A Failed Endeavor

At the end of the day, the Sister Wives star weighed both sides and realized that it was not for her:

“I didn’t want the religion of it. I wanted the bond of the sister wife…I saw a lot of the downsides, too, so that’s why we chose not to do polygamy.”

However, Mykelti Brown Padron’s husband, Tony Padron made it clear that he was not game for this lifestyle. The St. George, Utah native noted that his wife had rose colored glasses on when they tied the knot. So, she was very optimistic about the prospect of bringing in more women. That was not how he was and she admitted polygamy would have ended their marriage.

Are you shocked that Mykelti wanted plural marriage and can you see her having sister wives? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
