Prince Harry has embraced the American lifestyle after growing up in Kensington Palace in England. He moved across the ocean five years ago after his marriage to Meghan Markle allegedly fractured his relationship with his family. The couple married in 2018 in a stunning Royal wedding. They met in 2016 on a blind date set up by a mutual friend.
Meghan Markle grew up in Los Angeles. The two made a surprise appearance at the World Series. They attended Game 4 of the battle between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays. The Blue Jays are currently leading the series 3-2.
The teams face off next on Friday, October 31st. The Blue Jays have a chance to clinch the championship, or the series goes into one final game on Saturday, November 1st. The crowd’s reaction to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry was mixed. Several outlets reported that the Royal couple were loudly booed.
Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Divided, Going Separate Ways
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the Royal family to live a quieter life in America. However, they’re still very much in the public eye. They struck a deal with Netflix in 2020 for several shows, including With Love, Meghan. Season 2 of the show premiered over the summer. A holiday special airs in November, but there’s no word if it will continue after that.
But that’s okay because Meghan Markle has other plans. The Suits actress is reportedly leaning into promoting her lifestyle brand. A source told Us Weekly that Prince Harry and his wife are on separate paths in their careers.
“Meghan is no longer half of a royal duo. She’s re-emerging as a solo brand: global, aspirational and strategically aloof. The royal chapter was about proximity to power. This one’s about reclaiming it,” the source said.
“They will be very [professionally] divided now,” the insider added. The source claimed that the “negative attention” of Meghan Markle’s solo projects has put a stain on Prince Harry’s work.
“He seems happier doing the quieter, cause-driven work. They’re still a team, but they’re playing to their own strengths now,” public relations expert Jane Owen told the outlet.
Part of Meghan Markle’s solo rebrand is reportedly an upcoming cover feature for Harper’s Bazaar. While the Royal couple go their separate ways in their careers, their marriage is stronger than ever.
