Julie Chrisley Brings Back Blonde Hair Post-Prison After Son Chase Said She Planned to Change Up Her Look

The ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ star was spotted in a Target store with fans

Julie Chrisley’s blonde hair is back!

The Chrisley Knows Best star — who recently left prison on a pardon from President Donald Trump — was spotted by fans in a Target store on June 8 with an update to her hair color.

In the images, the reality television star posed alongside two young girls for a photo and a selfie, with her hair nearly back to how it was before she went to prison, the new TikTok video reveals.

Chrisley’s hair appeared slightly grown out to shoulder length and was colored in a bright blonde with subtle highlights and an ash undertone. To complete her beauty look, she filled in her eyebrows and wore black eyeliner, a rosy pink blush, and a clear pink gloss. She also kept her outfit equally simple, and wore a navy blue puff-sleeve top with wide-leg blue jeans.

“How cool is this! The fact she wanted to stay away from the media and photos but still was willing to take pictures with you all makes her even more likeable,” one fan wrote in the comments section of the new images.

One fan added in the second video from the celebrity encounter, “She looks fantastic!”

Julie’s appearance comes amid her largely staying out of the public eye following her release from prison. She, alongside husband Todd Chrisley, were released from prison on Wednesday, May 28, after entering in January 2023 for charges of tax evasion and bank fraud; the two were initially scheduled to do a total of 19 years behind bars.

Son Grayson Chrisley picked Julie up from Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Ky., while daughter Savannah Chrisley picked Todd up from Federal Prison Camp Pensacola, Fla.

Julie’s first public appearance occurred on May 29 — she was spotted running errands in Nashville, Tenn., with her natural gray hair on display.

Todd, meanwhile, has been spotted out and about since his release sporting a refreshed look. The 56-year-old held a press conference on Friday, May 30, at the Kimpton Aertson Hotel in Nashville, alongside Savannah and discussed how prison time led to a healthier look.

“Todd, the fans have been really talking about your physical transformation,” a reporter said during the conference.

“Yeah, I call it the BOP glow,” Todd told the reporter, referring to the “Bureau of Prisons.”

Toss largely credited his appearance to exercise, deepened spirituality and connection to his family. “I’ll actually have more access to better products now that I’m out,” he said. “I think that I had nothing to do other than to read and to work out. And so I worked out every morning at 10:45 until 12:00 with my buddies there.”

Todd continued, “I read, and my walk with Christ became deeper. And I talked to my daughter every day, to Chase, to Grayson. And then I was able to email with Julie every day. And so I think that for me, I haven’t had the same effects that so many people leaving the prison system have had.”
