Sister Wives viewers have always wanted Christine and Janelle to be featured on a show. They wanted a spinoff that would feature their lives after leaving Kody Brown. They have been asking the franchise to consider their request, and it appears the franchise has heard it as well. But this doesn’t mean that a spinoff is coming on the horizon.
Mykelti recently noted that this idea had come up before. But she believed that it wouldn’t really come to reality. The celebrity further explained that the show’s premise was polygamy and how wives managed their relationships and children. Hence, the chances are very low that viewers will get a spinoff featuring Janelle and Christine.
Sister Wives: There Will Be A New Season!
Sister Wives star Mykelti recently reflected on the show’s future and confirmed that the season was surely going to return for another season. She revealed that the family had already begun filming and that they were all part of the show. However, the celeb admitted that this time things were really different compared to what they had in the past two decades.
According to Mykelti, they initially filmed for two weeks and took two weeks off. But as per the current scenario, everyone has a completely different timeline, and this pattern is no longer possible. She noted, “There will be guaranteed one more season for sure.” However, Mykelti claimed that she was not sure if there would be any season beyond this.
On the other hand, Mykelti further talked about Janelle’s future. She explained how the latter had several thoughts in her mind. There were days when she wanted to have several more seasons of the show. But there surely are times when she simply didn’t want to film again. As per Mykelti, Janelle wants to focus on her kids, grandkids, farm, and her life.
However, this doesn’t mean that she was taking a leave from the upcoming season. She had already begun filming, and fans would get a chance to see her on the screen.
