Sometimes it’s best to just focus on the future and everything that can still happen. That’s what General Hospital star Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) is probably thinking to himself, especially after the last post that he shared on social media.
General Hospital’s Steve Burton Has Some Major Regrets
In fact, a lot of people can’t help but wonder if Steve, who is best known for his role as Jason Morgan on the hit ABC soap, feels as though he might have some regrets. And by that, we mean regretting not growing earlier – both spiritually and maybe even physically – with his fan base.
Steve took to his Instagram account to even write, “Circumstances don’t define the man, it reveals him to himself.”
“Circumstances don’t define you, it reveals you to yourself no matter what you’re going through.”
The actor continued, “If it’s your fault or if it’s not your fault, that circumstance will reveal to us, if we have enough awareness of what we need to work on – to overcome or what we need to work on to have freedom from that particular thing.”
How Long Is Steve Burton Going To Last As Jason Morgan On General Hospital?
Meanwhile, and earlier in the year, there was speculation suggesting that Steve Burton was ready to walk away from it all on General Hospital. For those who have been watching General Hospital for the last several years, they will know that Jason Morgan has gone through a lot of transformations.
He used to have the kind of stone cold demeanor that would help keep the streets of this fictional town of Port Charles under control. It might not be streets clean of crime, but at least both Jason and Sonny Corinthos knew what was going on at all times.
However, a lot of General Hospital fans have pointed out that there hasn’t been much growth in Jason’s character.
While there was an opportunity to make Jason more of a family man and dedicated father to his son Danny now that Sam McCall has died, that hasn’t happened.
