General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) is moving to Nashville, Tennessee, so she made a social media announcement and explained what it means for Maxie’s future in Port Charles.
In a recent Instagram post, Storms spilled the news about her big move and expressed her excitement.
It’s clear that Storms is looking forward to this new Tennessee chapter.
“I’m very excited to be making Tennessee my home! I can’t wait to return to GH, once Harper and I are settled in our new town, (Nashville)” Storms said.
This is a dream come true for Storms, so she’s eager to share more details on her adventure as it plays out.
Storms will hopefully be posting additional info so that fans can get a glimpse of her fresh start with her daughter.
“I plan on documenting as much of this new journey on my social media as I can,” Storms added.
“It’s always been a dream of mine to move to a place like this, it’s hard to believe it’s really happening.”
Kirsten Storms also posted a video that offered an explanation regarding her time in PC, which thankfully isn’t coming to an end!
Storms revealed that in March, she met with GH Executive Producer Frank Valentini and talked about her reasons for wanting to make this move.
During that meeting, Storms also expressed her desire to remain on the show, so Valentini was willing to make it work.
Storms shared that she asked for some time off as well, so she was grateful to receive so much support from Valentini, the ABC network executives and the writers.
Of course, Nicole Paggi has been airing as a temporary recast, but Storms has filmed more episodes and will hit the air as Maxie Jones again during the week of August 18.
That said, Storms admitted she recently had her final taping day for the year – though she ultimately amended that and suggested she might be back in December or maybe November.
It’s possible Paggi will fill in again in the meantime, but Storms’ gratitude for the writers made it sound more like Maxie was getting a plot-related reason to head off canvas.
Maxie might disappear or head out of town on some mission that connects to the action in Port Charles.
Regardless, Storms assured fans that the storyline they have going on until her PC return is incredible.
“You guys are going to freak out, actually,” Storms insisted before adding that she can’t can’t wait to see all the online comments.
It’s good to know that Maxie will remain on the show despite Kirsten Storms changing her living situation.
