General Hospital Week of December 22 Update: Willow’s Trial Brings More Shockers – Nina & Obrecht’s Surprising News

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week for December 22-26 reveals that Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial will bring more shockers while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) get surprising news.

First, there’ll be some holiday fun as Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) deliver some Christmas presents.

Over with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), she’ll have some love life advice for Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).

That could be exactly what Cody needs to finally make his move and convince Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) they should be together – at least once he explains away the whole Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) lip lock situation.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) will also be called to Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) place ahead of the tree-trimming bash.

Lulu will need some backup to make sure Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) keep the peace during the holiday get-together.

Sonny will have some guidance for Dante and will perhaps help him take the first steps toward building a real bond with Gio.

Regardless, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) should be pleased over the effort that Gio and Dante are both making for his sake.

As Willow’s trial gets underway again, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will receive some unfortunate news.

It may look like Willow’s situation is getting worse, but some new information is about to land in Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) lap.

Since some new intel is headed Alexis’ way, could this involve the eavesdropper who spied on Tracy and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) at the Quartermaine mansion?

Many GH fans speculated that it was Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) listening in on that conversation and have been waiting to see how he might use the info that he potentially overheard.

Regardless, the eavesdropper now knows that Tracy is hiding the fact that Michael was also at Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) house that night.

Alexis may soon score this info too and could make it work in Willow’s favor depending on how things play out in court.

Over with Nina and Liesl, they’ll have an attitude of gratitude on Christmas Eve.

However, Liesl and Nina should eventually get updates on Britt’s arrest saga since she was taken into custody after dining and dashing with Brad Cooper (Parry Shen).

As for Carly, she’ll take a gamble for the sake of her vengeful Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) plan.

It may help Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) see that Carly’s still serious about their efforts to send Brennan’s world tumbling down.

After a preemption on December 25, the show will wrap up the week with a brand-new episode on December 26.

That’s when Tracy will find herself wishing Monica Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) were still around to talk to.

Next, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) will let someone know he’s grateful, so there’s a good chance it’ll be Sonny since we know the pair will share scenes soon.

Although Kevin hates this whole situation with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), he’ll appreciate the way Sonny’s stepped up for Laura.

Speaking of Sidwell, he’ll play party host at Wyndemere.

There’ll be a swanky shindig with plenty of guests, but bashes like this one always bring the potential for drama.

Finally, Willow will deliver a plea to Drew and try to convince him to change his plans.

It sounds like Drew might want to move forward with pointing the finger at Michael on the stand, but Willow may think they need to listen to Alexis on this.
