General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) is facing a dilemma that could give Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) a chance at freedom. Drew is trapped due to the drug Willow’s using to keep him locked in, but everything could change if she gets sloppy!
In GH’s February 18 episode, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) encouraged Willow to pursue Drew’s Congress seat.
Willow was uncertain, but Nina insisted this could change the trajectory of her daughter’s life and empower her in ways she never dreamed of.
Of course, “empower” was perhaps the magic word for Willow since she indeed views what she’s doing to Drew as taking her power back.
However, Willow is facing a bit of a dilemma since she needs to be in charge of Drew’s care.
Nina suggested Willow should put Drew in a long-term care facility so she could focus on her congressional role, but that would come with complications.
Willow has to be able to give Drew his usual injections or else he won’t stay in this paralyzed state.
With that in mind, let’s consider what Willow’s options are.
Willow could decide to kill Drew, but that might raise suspicions and perhaps bring autopsy attention that she doesn’t need.
Another option might be if Willow pays some shady medical professional to do her dirty work for her when she can’t be around.
Whether Drew lands at a facility or continues at-home care, Willow might hand off injection duty to a paid ally.
Unfortunately, that would take some control away from Willow and open the door to some big risks.
Could Willow really trust someone else to get the job done right and not get caught?
Willow could also hope to keep Drew close by moving to Washington with him as well as the kids, but that would hinge on Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) going to prison and losing custody rights.
There are a lot of variables in play here that are out of Willow’s hands, but she may decide she has to find some way to make this work.
No matter how Willow chooses to handle this, Willow may get busy prepping for her Congress seat takeover and make a major blunder.
Willow might get caught up in meetings and making connections, so what if she isn’t there to deliver Drew’s drug dose at the right time or her potential ally slacks off instead?
Drew could miss a paralysis injection and get a chance to escape his twisted wife’s clutches!
