General Hospital Spoilers: Weeping Willow Takes the Stand, Alexis’ Biggest Courtroom Risk Yet

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that weeping Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) will take the stand, so Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will move forward with her biggest courtroom risk yet.

The last time Alexis took a gamble, she lost since Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) was no help to Willow’s case at all.

Alexis only succeeded in humiliating Portia and angering Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) since the blackmail drama was exposed.

That’s why Alexis knows she can’t afford to make another huge mistake.

Alexis has some work to do if she’s going to earn back the jury’s trust and convince them there’s reasonable doubt.

However, GH spoilers say things will start shifting in Alexis’ favor during the week of January 5-9.

Alexis’ new tactic involves putting the spotlight on Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and showing the jury it’s very possible that he could’ve pulled the trigger himself.

Drew will love watching Alexis make Michael look guilty since this is the strategy he wanted all along.

It’ll be satisfying from Drew’s perspective, but Michael and his loved ones obviously won’t be happy about it!

Jacinda Bracken’s (Paige Herschell) testimony may be the most helpful to Willow since it looks like she’s going to confess she was with Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) at the time of the shooting.

Without an alibi, Michael will certainly land in hot water – especially after perjuring himself in court.

Despite all the positive developments for Willow, Alexis may worry it’s not enough to seal the deal on a not guilty verdict.

Willow lied about her story multiple times, so it’s not like Michael will be the only liar involved here.

Alexis was previously against Willow taking the stand, but she may have a change of heart for a couple different reasons.

If Alexis feels like Michael is coming off as rather villainous, she may like the idea of putting weeping Willow in front of the jury and making her look like a distraught, wrongfully accused mother.

Plus, Alexis may face pressure from Willow and Drew to let Willow personally defend herself.

Willow could share her version of events in her own words and try to stir up some jury sympathy.

Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers say Alexis will take her biggest risk yet when it comes to this trial, so Willow indeed seems poised to testify.

Alexis may make some final updates to her defense of Willow with this move and hope for good news.

Since all signs point to Willow being the real shooter, fans may see just how much of a manipulator she is when she lies with such ease!
