General Hospital Spoilers Week of August 18: Josslyn Stands Her Ground as Jason Pressures Britt for the Truth
Port Charles heats up as Josslyn takes a firm stand, while Jason turns up the pressure on Britt in a relentless push to uncover the answers he needs.
General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of August 18 tease Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is in a difficult situation as Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) takes matters into her own hands. Meanwhile, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will press Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) for answers, promising some thrilling scenes ahead on GH.
Drew Continues To Be On Bad Behavior
To start, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will keep demonstrating that he’s a complete threat to society. As Drew turns to more manipulative strategies, he appears ready to push Michael into a challenging position.
Drew might execute some underhanded tactics and pressure Michael into allowing Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) to see the kids, yet there’s no assurance that Michael will give in.
Michael must prioritize what’s best for his children, but Drew is set to complicate matters in the upcoming episodes. In the meantime, the connection between Willow and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will deepen even further.
Will This Situation Stay Platonic? Maybe, Maybe Not!
The current situation might be platonic, but how long will that last? Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) may not even realize the growing bond between Chase and Willow, as her attention will be on Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza).
It appears that Brook Lynn and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will join forces in an attempt to persuade Gio to let down his guard – even if it’s just a little. Meanwhile, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) could be feeling some remorse about her decision to adopt Outback.
This dog isn’t the easiest to manage, so it seems Outback is ready to stir up some chaos as she adjusts to life in Lulu’s home.
Liesl Won’t Let Go Of The Rocco Situation, Britt Faces Jason’s Questions
Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) made a promise to assist with Outback, but he’s currently tied up with his pool job and might not be able to contribute as much as Lulu hopes.
On the other hand, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is determined to pursue her agenda regarding Rocco. Since she sees Rocco as her final connection to Britt, it’s understandable why she feels so strongly about him.
In relation to Britt, she will have to answer Jason’s inquiries following their surprising reunion at the Five Poppies Resort. Ultimately, Jason will press Britt for clarity regarding her staged death and the true reason for her continued stay at the property.
Britt Appears To Be Under Coercion, In The Meantime Josslyn Goes Rogue
Britt might not reveal everything right now, but it’s obvious she’s under coercion in order to get her medication doses; Britt seems to have found an incredible treatment for Huntington’s disease.
But she can only access it through successful lab results; meanwhile, Josslyn decides to go against Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) orders. She is set on extracting information from Britt, but this could risk her cover and potentially expose her WSB role to Jason if she’s not cautious.
Since Josslyn seems poised to rescue Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) from a dangerous situation, she might claim that he owes her. Even if Vaughn disagrees with Josslyn’s risky actions, she may caution him not to hinder her from doing what she feels is necessary.
