General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will show up at Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) funeral and set the stage for some drama.
The question is: Will Sonny be a funeral crasher or be ordered to attend?
It’s possible Sonny will show up to pay his respects and try to convince Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) not to escalate things.
Sonny may assure Sidwell that he didn’t go after Marco, especially since he knows retaliation could put his own kids’ lives at risk.
In other words, Sonny might crash for a good reason if he’s working to protect the lives of his loved ones.
That decision could actually rile Sidwell up even more and leave him ready for a fierce faceoff in the church.
If some funeral crashing is involved, Sidwell might take this opportunity to rip into Sonny for daring to show his face at Marco’s service.
However, it’s also possible GH writers will swing this another way entirely if Sidwell actually demands Sonny’s presence.
Sidwell might view this as a chance to publicly drag Sonny’s name through the mud.
Perhaps Sidwell could force Sonny to be there – partly to show him the life he snuffed out and partly to accuse him in front of the other guests.
Regardless, Sidwell will surely rant about how much Marco loathed Sonny and how much he wanted to avenge Natalia Ramirez’s (Eva LaRue) demise.
Sidwell may promise Sonny that he’s going to honor that wish for Marco by any means necessary and make him pay for Marco’s fatal outcome, too.
Of course, Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) is actually the one who took Marco away from Sidwell permanently.
It may take Sidwell some time to figure that out, so Sonny and his family could face a steep price in the meantime.
No matter how it all goes down, Sonny and Sidwell have some tense funeral scenes ahead.
Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) will be there to play referee and try to stop things from getting out of hand, but Sidwell will still remain boiling mad!
General Hospital spoilers say bad news could be brewing for Sonny if he can’t get a grip on the situation, so stay tuned.
