General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) may continue to spiral as Port Charles’ top villain, as he offs his own son, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo), for his betrayal.
Marco is playing a very dangerous game with his father. In an effort to protect Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), who is aware of their dastardly plans, Marco is hiding the information from his father.
Unfortunately, Pascal (Marc Forget) saw Lucas eavesdropping on a hush-hush conversation between Marco and his dad recently and didn’t confront Lucas about it.
Rather, he ran to Sidwell to spill the beans, and now the criminal has Lucas on his radar.
Sidwell isn’t a stupid man, either, so during the Tuesday, February 24 episode, he pushed back on Marco’s suggestion that he and Lucas, or at the very least just Lucas, move out of Wyndemere.
Sidwell even questioned Marco about Lucas being in the know about anything – something Marco denied.
Sidwell likely has a hunch that Marco knows Lucas knows about Sidwell’s research project.
Sidwell is keeping his son out of this loop, obviously to gain the upper hand, which means he may also have revenge plans for Lucas and possibly Marco.
While it’s hard to believe that Sidwell would harm his own son, he’s as cut-throat as villains come in the land of soaps.
In fact, if GH wants to continue to build up Sidwell as a threat, ending his own son’s life would secure this.
Sidwell is determined to see through Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project, and nothing will get in his way … not even Marco!
Could Sidwell come up with a scheme to end both Lucas and Marco?
It’s hard to see Lucas exiting the canvas as he’s such a pivotal player in Port Charles, but Marco is expendable.
GH fans raised an eyebrow some months ago when casting portraits were released for the newer characters on the show; however, Marco’s was glaringly absent.
He wasn’t the only one that was missing, as Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton, played by Daniel Goddard, was not there too … and we all know how that went.
Sidwell ended up shooting the PCU professor shortly after this, ending that character’s reign. Will Marco end up with the same fate?
Whether it’s a situation where Sidwell tries to ax both of them, Lucas will likely escape the predicament, but Marco could become a casualty.
Then again, Marco may get the same treatment as Dalton got for his betrayal, a shot in the chest without a blink of an eye – so only time will tell.
General Hospital spoilers hint that Marco’s passing would send shockwaves in PC, and Lucas would reel from the loss of his love, so it’ll be interesting if the ABC soap pulls the trigger (so to speak) on this kind of storyline plot twist.
