General Hospital Spoilers: Sidwell Fakes Valentin’s Death, Charlotte’s Risky Deal Saves Dad from Brennan?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) might fake Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) death. Will Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) strike a risky deal to save her dad from Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) and the WSB?

In the January 2 episode, Sidwell struck up a conversation with Charlotte and turned on the charm for the most part.

Although Sidwell made some ominous Ace Cassadine (Karis and Kiernan Barry) toward the end of their chat, he was overall pleasant during the interaction.

Afterward, Sidwell talked to Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) about Valentin being someone who was talented in many areas.

Since Sidwell feels like Valentin could be an asset on their project, that’s bound to be important.

Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) death was faked before she got roped into joining this project years ago.

It’s possible things are heading that way for Valentin too, so let’s talk about some interesting clues.

In an interview with TV Insider, GH Co-Head Writers Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten teased that “Valentin’s bond with Charlotte may be the death of him.”

The pair also hinted that “Charlotte considers going full Cassadine” as her story plays out.

Now that the show’s made this Sidwell and Charlotte connection, could they ultimately make a deal?

Charlotte knows Brennan is looking for Valentin and may grow concerned about what he’ll do to her dad if he actually finds him.

Perhaps Charlotte will take her chances with Sidwell instead and seek his help handling this.

Sidwell might admit he needs Valentin to join his project team, so Charlotte could promise to get father on board.

In exchange, Sidwell might fake Valentin’s death so that Brennan, the WSB and everyone else will stop searching for him.

Maybe Sidwell could also arrange for Charlotte to continue seeing Valentin without anyone else’s knowledge.

If that’s how things go down, it would explain the spoilers about Valentin’s bond with Charlotte being the “death” of him and all this talk about her “going full Cassadine.”

What’s more Cassadine than striking a sneaky deal with someone as shady as Sidwell?

Valentin may end up somewhere safe with continued access to Charlotte as long as he does his part on this project.

Naturally, Sidwell may dish out some threats as well and make it clear to Valentin that he could hurt Charlotte if he doesn’t cooperate.

Sidwell might argue that Valentin should do what he’s told so that everyone stays happy and alive.
