General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that fans have been on the fence about Veronica “Ronnie” Bard’s (Erika Slezak) intentions; however, this week, there’s a good chance she’ll crack and expose her sinister Quartermaine mansion scheme.
GH just released their preview for the week of October 20-24, and there’s an interesting scene between Ronnie and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), which offers a ton of insight.
With that said, let’s rewind a bit. Since Ronnie’s arrival in Port Charles, Tracy hasn’t been overly welcoming, while the rest of the Quartmaines have done their best to make Ronnie feel at home.
Tracy smelled a rat and sensed something was very off where Ronnie was concerned from the get-go.
Still, Tracy does tend to build walls and lash out at any newcomer that enters the little town, as she doesn’t really trust anyone she meets.
As such, the rest of the Q family has felt as if Tracy’s reaction to Ronnie is just “Tracy being Tracy”.
However, General Hospital fans can tell that Tracy might be on to something, despite Ronnie’s sweet nature and kind demeanor.
Of course, Tracy got that much more aggressive when Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) will was read, and she found out her sister-in-law left the Quartermaine mansion to her long-lost sister, versus Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), whom everyone assumed would inherit the house.
Tracy can sense that Ronnie’s a “grifter” not only based on the feelings she has, but also just because Monica never mentioned her sister.
Tracy and Monica had gotten close and spent hours together daily, talking about everything and anything.
Tracy got a real sense of Monica’s feelings during the end of her days, and she knows in her heart of hearts that Ronnie is pulling some sort of scam.
While she enlisted Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) help in digging up the dirt on Ronnie, Lulu came forth with squeaky clean folder on Ronnie, with nothing that raised any eyebrows.
From winning the best pie at a local festival yearly to the fact that she was a waitress that simply lived a humble life; Ronnie seems like anything but a schemer.
Fast forward to this week, and Tracy will get into a heated confrontation with Ronnie; however, the tables will be turned.
The two ladies have gotten into it in the past, but it’s been Tracy throwing a tantrum when all is said and done.
During the week of October 20-24, the GH promo shows Tracy calmly telling Ronnie and Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton), “That woman is hiding something”.
The next clip shows Ronnie raging, as she screams “Get out!” This scenes shows a very different Ronnie than GH viewers have seen in the past, so could her facade be crumbling?
Fans have seen some hints that Ronnie might be part of a scheme that aimed to screw Tracy over by forging Monica’s will, but how exactly that went down and who Ronnie is working with – whether that be Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) or Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) – remains to be seen.
From giving Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) that extravagant $50 tip to being very hesitant of Brook Lynn’s tea party idea; Ronnie has something to hide, and her real story and purpose in PC might be exposed this week.
Even if her true intensions are only revealed to GH fans, versus any of the other characters on screen.
General Hospital spoilers remind viewers that Ronnie’s run in Port Charles is wrapping up, as Erika Slezak did confirm a short-term stint on the show, so it’ll be interesting to see who Ronnie is working with and all the drama that will hit the fan once she’s exposed, in the weeks ahead!
