General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Pushes Too Far — Willow Falls Deeper for Drew as Tensions Explode
General Hospital spoilers report Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) knew what she was doing when she stood up in the court room this week and pleaded guilty to charges of giving the authorities a false statement.
Her fabricated alibi was manufactured with good intentions. She just wanted to protect Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
In a weak moment, she panicked and thought Willow might have actually been the one to shoot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) — and who knows, maybe she was!
But now, Nina was forced to choose the lesser of evils, or otherwise risk becoming Willow’s cellmate and making her daughter look even worse.
Still, teeing her up to fight this battle alone felt cruel to Willow, and felt dirty to Nina. As Drew called her names from across the court room, it was clear to Nina that she just lost her daughter — again. And guess who’s going to be right there to pick up the pieces? You guessed it — Drew!
Nina Never Did Hack It
Let’s be honest; Nina has done a bang-up job at getting Willow away from Drew. FOr more than a year now, she’s been working to get her daughter to see who the man really is, to no avail.
Willow just refused to see any of the bad things about the Congressman that everyone else whispered into her ear. At times, Nina even screamed it to her face, but Willow wasn’t having it.
Now that she feels more betrayed by her mother than ever, it’s highly unlikely that she’s going to hear anything Nina has to say — especially about Drew, the man who seems to have been in her corner all along.

Michael Could Change Everything
One would think that Michael Corinthos (Rory GIbson) would be the last person Willow would listen to, but there might be room for compromise here than anyone suspects.
Just think back to last week when Michael was waiting for Willow in Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) living room. It was the last thing she expected, and to hear him say he thought she needed to see their kids was like music to her ears.
Now, on one hand, Willow might be thinking she fell for his dirty tricks, but on the other, she could fall further for his schemes if Michael uses the leverage he has on her to take Drew down.
Who else thinks Willow would roll over on the Congressman in a hot minute if it meant getting any semblance of a relationship back with her kids?
Chase May Beat Him to the Punch
Of course, Michael and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) had a rather contentious conversation in the steam room on Thursday.
While the detective came ready to defend the ex-wife he and Michael have in common, Michael was having none of that, but Chase wasn’t prepared to hear any side of the story that represented Willow as anything other than the woman he clearly still needs her to be.
So far, it looks like Chase is really in Willow’s corner, but will that be enough to pull her out of the trenches with Drew? In fact, it just might, especially if Chase’s strong interest in protecting Willow drives a wedge into his marriage and leaves him suddenly available to Willow again.
