General Hospital Spoilers suggest Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is about to floor Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) this week as previews tease he will come to Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) place with a change of heart, professing that he wants Willow to be in their children’s lives.
So far, Willow has been in agreement with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), who has been bent on making Michael pay for taking Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) away from Willow.
Now, it’s possible that Willow will be caught between Drew’s intended war against Michael — which is only going to ramp up if he starts thinking Michael is the reason he was cut out of Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) will — and Michael’s intent to make peace.
Moreover, if Willow is the one who shot Drew, knowing Drew intends to give her an alibi by fingering Michael for the crime just might leave her riddled with guilt. Is there a way out of this?
An Open Door
Michael’s visit is going to take Willow by complete surprise. How could it not? Until now, she has felt he viewed her as his enemy. Now, he seems ready to put the past behind him and move forward, keeping in mind what is best for the children.
Obviously, being ostracized from their mother was never actually what Michael wanted, but he thought it was the safest option after everything that happened with Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and Daisy Corinthos Gilmore (Brenden and Evelyn Beimford).
Can Michael’s willingness to renegotiate custody with Willow change the way they are treating each other and open the road toward reconciliation?
GH Spoilers Question if Michael and Willow are Really Over
Willow walked out on her marriage, not out of love with Michael, but somehow in love with his uncle, too. She has always regretted the way she left their marriage, and any semblance of Michael warming to her again might make her feel like time can heal all wounds.
Maybe there is a chance that she and Michael could reconcile down the road? She could be left looking for any sign that they aren’t truly over.
After all, it’s not like she has been terribly happy ever since she made the fateful decision to step out on her husband. The fans don’t really seem like they’re in the mood to see these two back together, but stranger things have happened.
Drew Spies Willow’s Unease
Willow is going to confess to Drew that she hasn’t been entirely honest with him. That could mean any number of things, but it’s likely that Drew isn’t going to be thrilled that Michael is making moves toward working things out with Willow as co-parents.
He needs Michael to be the bad guy in this scenario for Willow to go all-in with him. He has to keep his nephew at arms’ length and keep Willow defensive against him.
If she has any desire to work with Michael, it’s going to blow up Drew’s plan. As he senses her discomfort and how much it appeals to her to just accept the olive branch and move forward in positivity, Drew may dig his talons into Willow even deeper.
