General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) may allow Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) visitation with the kids now that Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) influence is over.
Although Michael clearly has issues with Willow too, GH fans know Drew has been his biggest problem throughout his feud with his ex-wife.
Michael has been adamant about not wanting his children living with Drew, so he’s had good reasons to fight hard against Willow having any kind of custody or visitation.
However, Michael’s stance thawed a bit when he realized she might go to prison.
That led to Michael agreeing that Willow could see Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) through the programs available to her behind bars.
When Willow questioned Michael about what would happen if the verdict was not guilty, it was obvious that Drew’s presence in her life was still going to be an issue.
That may be why Willow made a bold move so quickly after her acquittal!
Willow wasted no time in using that syringe on Drew and turning him into a massive stroke victim.
It’s easy to see that Willow’s desperate for time with her children, so it probably won’t be long until she has another visitation talk with Michael.
Willow may point out that Michael’s Drew concerns are over since he has to focus on his health now.
If Drew’s dealing with locked-in syndrome due to his stroke, then Michael doesn’t have to worry about him lying to the kids or manipulating them in any way.
Drew has hurt Wiley with manipulation tactics before, but that can’t happen if Drew’s unable to communicate.
Willow won’t want to do anything to make Michael suspicious of Drew’s ordeal, but she could at least acknowledge that he got what he wanted.
Deep down, Michael knows how much Wiley and Amelia miss Willow.
It’s been hard for the kids to deal with this separation from their mother, so Michael may decide to relent on visitation now that Drew isn’t part of the package.
Michael might also consider the possibility that things could shift in Willow’s favor in court now that he’s the top shooter suspect.
It might be in Michael’s best interest to start compromising with Willow in case she gains the upper hand when it comes to custody.
