As the week of February 16-20 begins, GH spoilers say Maxie will struggle to wrap her head around Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) survival.
Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) just broke the news to Lulu about Nathan being alive, but the truth hasn’t really registered for Maxie yet.
It’s understandable for Maxie to be perplexed and skeptical at this point.
Maxie was there to see Nathan’s corpse and suffered through his funeral before spending years grieving the loss.
Nevertheless, Felicia will insist Nathan is back after all this time and will tell the bizarre story of him showing up in a crashed truck out of the blue.
Nathan claims he has no memory of what happened during his seven years away, but his DNA and fingerprints were verified.
Despite that proof, Maxie may suspect there’s some sort of twisted trick going on.
Even after Felicia explains that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is alive too, Maxie might keep her guard up when it comes to what she’s willing to believe.
Meanwhile, Nathan will get updates on Maxie’s wake-up call and open up to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about how nervous he is to see her again.
Of course, Nathan may not admit his feelings for Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and how they’ve complicated the situation, but he could at least tell Dante he’s anxious about Maxie’s reaction.
When the time comes for Maxie’s welcome home party on February 19, Nathan may be uncertain of whether he should show up.
Dante may give Nathan a nudge to attend, so that might be when Nathan and Maxie will finally come face to face once again.
Will Nathan manage to derail the festivities with his presence? Will Maxie believe he’s Nathan once he’s right in front of her or reject him as an imposter instead?
