General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) will return for three reasons, so let’s talk about Rena Sofer’s comeback and how it’s going to shake things up. Lois is indeed coming home to Port Charles, where she’ll have multiple goals to accomplish.
1) Monica’s passing leads to Lois’ homecoming
Of course, Lois’ first goal will be to pay her respects following Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) demise and be there for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) during this difficult time.
Lois will know the Quartermaines are going to be in crisis mode as they mourn this tough loss, so she won’t be able to stay away.
Although Lois planned to give Brook Lynn the space she needed and let her daughter decide when they’d reconnect, Monica’s death will move up the timeline and force Lois to take action.
2) Lois wants to make amends with Brook Lynn
That brings us to Lois’ second goal since she’ll no doubt want to make amends with Brook Lynn while she’s in town.
It’s been hard for Lois to respect Brook Lynn’s boundaries and deal with all this tension between them, but she’s made it work so far.
However, GH spoilers suggest Lois won’t be able to stand their strained relationship for much longer.
Brook Lynn’s world will get a bit turned upside down by Lois’ return, but there’s a good chance they’ll have a breakthrough that leaves BLQ grateful in the end.
3) Brook Lynn needs Lois’ marriage guidance
Lois may also find herself around at exactly the right time to dish out some marriage guidance to Brook Lynn, who’s going to face a rough patch in her relationship with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
Brook Lynn will need someone to lean on and confide in, so there’ll be no one better than her ma!
Once Lois and Brook Lynn fix their broken bond, this supportive mom may come through with some advice and comfort.
