General Hospital Spoilers: Jason & Britt’s Heartbreaking Goodbye Scenes, Prison Exit Forces Lovers’ Farewell?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) love story will once again become a tragic one. Britt was unconscious when the worst of the drama went down on the pier, so she’s got plenty of questions for Jason.

The problem is that Jason’s stuck at the PCPD following his latest arrest.

Britt knows Jason said to tell the police that she watched him shoot Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), but she obviously didn’t see anything while she was out cold.

The mystery of all this will leave Britt frustrated and ready to get some answers soon enough.

After Britt shows off her determination on March 25, she may finally be allowed to see Jason.

Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) might pull some strings to make that happen and score some alone time for the duo.

Once Britt finally has a private moment with Jason, she’s going to wonder what the heck is going on.

Will Jason admit he’s taking the fall for Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) or leave Britt in the dark on who he’s covering for?

It depends on how GH writers want to play what could be Britt and Jason’s final scenes before his departure.

It’s possible Britt will lash out at Jason if he pushes her to just trust him.

Jason may insist there’s someone he has to protect and leave Britt furious if she doesn’t understand the full situation.

Of course, that could lead to Rocco breaking down and confessing the truth to Britt down the road, which would help her understand Jason’s sacrifice.

However, it’s also possible Jason will feel he owes Britt the real story here and now.

Jason might admit he’s taking the fall for Rocco and get Britt to agree it’s the only option.

Britt would do anything to keep Rocco safe and out of the slammer, so she may see why Jason has to go in his place.

One way or another, Britt and Jason are gearing up for some heartbreaking goodbye scenes!

Unless there’s some big twist where Jason escapes, he may be headed to Steinmauer or another prison facility for his exit.
