General Hospital Spoilers: Harrison Chase Exits Port Charles?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of February 23-27 hint that Harrison Chase (Joshua Swickard) could leave town.

After all, his life is about to implode over the next couple of days, so let’s unpack his situation and possible exit.

First off, there have been some rumblings on social media and the internet that Josh Swickard could be leaving the ABC soap.

Neither General Hospital nor Swickard has confirmed an exit, but that doesn’t mean that one won’t happen.

It’s also sweeps month, the last week of February, so Chase leaving Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) behind, and Port Charles may be the shock the show brings to wrap up an explosive month on GH.

After all, once Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) confronts him on the whole keychain debacle, the tension will rise in the Quartermaine mansion, and the situation is sure to bring strain to his marriage.

During the February 19 episode, Michael was called down to the station as Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) house key was found on his chain.

When the PCPD arrived at the Quartermaine mansion recently, Michael willingly gave them his key chain because he knew they’d find nothing on it.

Little did Michael realize that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) had placed Drew’s house key on the chain.

In and around the same time, Chase had found Michael’s keys on the floor in the Q mansion and decided to take it upon himself to see if Drew’s key was on it.

Once he realized it was, he placed the keys back on the floor, but didn’t notice that Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) saw him with his father’s keys.

Wiley mentioned this to Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) on Thursday’s show, so when Michael was called to the station and needed a lawyer, Ric sauntered in and revealed this little tidbit, which sent ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) into a tizzy.

Whether the police believe Michael shot Drew or not, they can’t use Drew’s keys as evidence because of Chase’s tampering.

Not only was Chase in possession of the keys, but he also prompted Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) to investigate this part of the case.

Even though Chase technically didn’t tamper or plant Drew’s key on Michael’s key chain, he still looks mighty guilty

Chase can also kiss any chances of becoming a detective, again, goodbye.

It’s hard to gauge just how upset Brook Lynn will be with Chase over these actions, as the two have fought over his need to exonerate Willow in the past.

With that said, Willow was exonerated, even though fans know she’s the one who shot Drew, so Brook Lynn may struggle to understand why Chase would continue investigating a case he was taken off of.

It seems as if Chase wants justice to be served, and as such, he crossed a line. This doesn’t make it okay, and he’s also been manipulated by Willow, so there’s that, too.

Still, without a job in the police force and with his marriage in shambles, will Chase leave the canvas this week?

Are the rumors true about Josh Swickard leaving the soap? Only time will tell.

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that Chase may decide to visit his brother, Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), to get away from all the drama, so is this how the former cop exits storylines?
