General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) could become a poison victim next.
Will the attempted killer try a new approach since Drew survived the gunshots he faced at the house?
Someone fired at Drew twice that night and probably thought he was gone for good when they left.
However, Drew survived thanks to Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) arrival and the paramedics she called for.
Of course, since Drew didn’t face a grim fate like the culprit presumably intended, he could still be in danger.
That culprit could try to finish the job, but they might choose a new approach like poisoning him this time around.
Drew’s shooting created a whole lot of drama and launched a major PCPD investigation.
It seems too risky to pull the trigger on Drew again – not to mention it’d be too repetitive for viewers to watch anyway.
It’d be simpler to slip something toxic in Drew’s food or beverage for this second attempt. That way, it could be done quietly and might throw the cops off the trail with the fresh tactic.
It’s easy to imagine Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) having to call 911 over his boss being unresponsive.
Perhaps Kai could even get accused of poisoning Drew, especially once it comes out that his fingerprints were on the bat found at the previous crime scene.
Whatever the case, it won’t be surprising if the attempted killer makes another bold move against Drew and switches it up a bit.
The same thing happened when Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was being targeted since he almost got caught in the penthouse explosion before an assassin nurse tried to inject him at the hospital in LA.
In other words, it’s common for a targeted character to face different types of fatal threats as the story moves along.
Drew could easily become a poison victim next or perhaps face another type of dangerous situation.
General Hospital spoilers say Drew may want to watch his back following his GH release, so stay tuned for updates on any scary news that might erupt!
