General Hospital spoilers suggest Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) are two peas in a pod, but that doesn’t mean they’re compatible.
In fact, they often look like anything but capable of meshing together and making this relationship work. They’re socially awkward as far as couples go.
They’ve really struggled with timing, and they aren’t very good at communication. But all of that aside, sure, this phase of puppy love is fine and well. The problem is — Cody is keeping a secret from Molly, and she’s not very big on forgiveness for things like that.
So what will become of their budding romance when Molly learns that Cody has been lying to her for months — and that the truth will turn her life upside down?
It’s Bound to Happen
If you’re like me, you may have almost forgot that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Ava Jerome (Maura West), and Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) just held Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) — Molly’s father — hostage in her mother’s basement for a month.
Cody found him, and then found out everything else that had transpired to get them to that point. Then he swore he wouldn’t tell anyone, including Molly.
Big mistake. He can’t take it back now and when the truth comes out, she will probably resent him for keeping her in the dark.
GH Spoilers Say Kristina Could Get the Brunt of This
Molly has a history of coming down pretty hard on her sister, and that was the case before, even after Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) passing. Molly has struggled to accept how often her mother puts Kristina’s needs ahead of everyone else’s, even at others’ detriment.
This time around will likely be no different. If Kristina hadn’t cut those brake lines, none of it would be happening — including Cody being wrapped up in it! I imagine that’s the way Molly will see it, just before she shuts down communication and ghosts Cody just like ah has every other time she’s been upset.
A Family Affair
Alexis and Ric are certain to have plenty to say to try to explain away their behavior. Ric doesn’t want to look like a sleaze in Molly’s eyes. Alexis doesn’t want to be a disappointment to her moralistic daughter who has always had more integrity than she does.
But Kristina will probably offer up excuses over explanations, and she may even push Molly to cut Cody some slack. Will he deserve it?
