General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Cesar Faison or Peter August (Wes Ramsey) may have taken over Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) body, but which one is it? GH fans have been debating that and discussing their theories on social media, so let’s talk about this tricky situation.

Despite Nathan’s claim that Faison shooting him was the last thing he remembers, that may not be the real story.

Nathan may just be using this amnesia angle as a way to avoid answering questions about where he’s been and how he’s back.

Plus, Nathan had a rather strange look on his face after Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) visited him – one that seemed almost devious.

There was an uncomfortable vibe like both Britt and Nathan were both concealing something.

In reality, Nathan may be someone else entirely despite that familiar face of his.

Although Nathan’s fingerprints and DNA match, that doesn’t mean this is the Nathan that viewers remember.

If that’s the case, two people come to mind as potential options.

Cesar Faison is one of them since there have been some hints to suggest he might still be alive after all.

Maybe Faison is making a comeback in Nathan’s body and the mystery boss who’s been supplying Britt with her medication.

That could explain most of Britt’s behavior, so the idea of her working for her father in some form is definitely a possibility to consider.

“Nathan” is so eager to meet his son, but what if this is really about Faison meeting his grandson?

Could Faison be ready to target James West (Gary James Fuller) and set him up as a sinister heir?

Of course, Peter August could be another back-from-the-dead option and someone who’d be willing to take over Nathan’s body.

Peter may be positioning himself to reclaim his family with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and reunite with her once she emerges from her coma.

We could certainly imagine Peter finding some way to take over Faison’s operations since he always felt so rejected.

Nathan was the son who Faison loved and wanted, so Peter gloated over him shooting the wrong one in the aftermath of Nathan’s grim fate.

All that could tie in with a “Nathan is really Peter” story, so that’s worth mulling over, too.

It’ll be interesting to see what kind of twisted brain takeover is happening if that’s indeed what’s going on.
