General Hospital Spoilers: Anna’s Mental Institution Stay, Appears Insane After Captivity?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) may have a mental institution stay in her future. Anna may look insane after her traumatic imprisonment, so let’s talk about her terrible situation.

GH fans know Anna has been drugged and has experienced plenty of hallucinations as a result.

Anna has come to believe Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) is still alive, but it’s obvious she’s a gaslighting victim.

With Pascal’s (Marc Forget) help, Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) have convinced Anna that Faison has returned from the grave.

However, it’s going to be tough for Anna to convince anyone else in her unhinged state.

Once Anna starts talking about Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Faison popping up while she was in captivity, it’s going to look like she’s totally lost it.

In the February 2 episode, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) received a phone call from someone claiming to be a police officer in a small town in France.

Emma also learned that Anna got the attention of a driver on a remote road, which led to her claiming she’d been held prisoner and escaped.

According to Emma, Anna said she needed to warn everyone that Faison is alive.

However, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will be skeptical once he gets the latest news from Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) on February 3.

Dante struggled in the past due to PTSD and programming, so he knows how hard it is to climb out of a bad place.

It looks like Dante will think Anna needs to lean on those she trusts most to bring her back to sanity.

Anna certainly seems mentally unstable in the preview video for the week of February 2-6.

Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) looks absolutely heartbroken as Anna insists Felicia has to get her out of there.

Based on the white walls in the background, Anna may be in the psych ward when this conversation happens.

It may be determined that Anna isn’t in her right mind, so she may be transferred to a mental institution for further treatment.

Of course, it’d be easy for Sidwell and Cullum to pay someone on the inside to keep drugging Anna and making her seem insane.

Anna may essentially become a prisoner all over again – only this time, she could be at Shadybrook or another mental health facility.

General Hospital spoilers say Anna has more trauma ahead of her, so stay tuned for updates on the next phase of Cullum and Sidwell’s plan.
