General Hospital Preview Week September 22: Britt’s Medicine Shocker – Nathan Unresponsive – Mystery Crypt Crasher
General Hospital (GH) preview video for the week of September 22-26 suggest Port Charles will be rocked by Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) return, while the Quartermaine family will reel over Erika Slezak’s mysterious character debut during Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) memorial.
In fact, the ABC daytime drama just dropped its weekly promo, and the video promises that the next five days won’t be ‘just big’, but they’ll be ‘game-changing’ – so it’s time to talk about it.
The GH preview opens with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) looking shocked while overhearing some news.
Lucy looks like she’s almost at a loss for words, and on the brink of tears, and seems to be in the Quartermaine mansion, so it looks like she’ll find out about Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) passing.
As the scenes shift, next up is a close-up of Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), as he’s in the hospital and shaking his head in disbelief.
Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) is there, too, seemingly at a patient’s bedside, looking stunned at a totally unresponsive Nathan.
Then the camera pans to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) face, and it appears as if she’s just seen a ghost.
A close-up of Nathan is shown, in his hospital bed, hooked up to oxygen and totally unconscious.
As the General Hospital preview progresses, scenes shift at a rapid pace.
A clip is shown of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) in the church for Monica’s memorial, approaching the photo of his mom in the center.
Then there’s a scene where Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) enters Nathan’s hospital room, stops before approaching his bed.
The woman may be there in her official “Patient Advocate” role for the hospital, but will she end up talking to him?
The next scene is of a woman placing some medication on a table in a room with a note that says, “DON’T FORGET TO TAKE YOUR MEDICATION”.
Still, is this note from Felicia, issued to Nathan, or is this from a completely different person, issued to an entirely different character?
These previews can be misleading sometimes, and Felicia is wearing a dark suit in the previous clip, while the person dropping the note off next to the meds is wearing a light grey blazer.
With that said, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Theibaud) is featured in the next scene, seemingly reading something, and looking terrified.
Is she the one who gets that note and meds? Does someone break into her room at Bobbie’s?
An emotional Nina is revealed in the next clip, smiling and tearing up, looking down at someone in bed, so there’s a good chance it’s Nathan she’s talking to.
Nina was extremely close to him when he was alive, and now that she has both of her cousins back, Nina will be over the moon with joy to find out that Nathan is back.
As the promo wraps up, one of the final scenes shows Jason in the front row at the church, while Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is behind him.
Both of them turn their heads as someone will surprisingly interrupt Monica’s memorial.
Jason looks upset, while Laura looks stunned. A clip of Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) flashes across the screen as she closes a door, looking pretty disgusted.
The two final scenes of the preview center on Monica, as an old scene of her in the Q mansion is shown, as she toasts to something/someone with a wine glass.
The final scene of the GH preview for the week of September 22-26 reveals Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) entering the Q family crypt.
As she opens the door, she shines a light on someone who is looking at Lila Quartermaine’s (Anna Lee) vault.
Tracy yells out, “Who are you?” As the woman turns around, Erika Slezak reveals her face.
General Hospital spoilers indicate this week could change the very landscape of Port Charles, as Slezak’s new character debuts to shake up Tracy’s life, along with the rest of the Q’s – and everyone finds out if the man found on Friday is actually Nathan West!
