General Hospital Monday, January 19 Update: Sonny Vows Michael Won’t Go Down – Alexis Wants Reward for Willow’s Acquittal
General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, January 19, reveals that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will vow that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) won’t go down while Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) wants a reward for Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) acquittal.
Since Alexis did her part to get Willow off the hook for shooting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), she’ll push him to honor their agreement.
Alexis will expect to be rewarded with Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) bonding time for her family, but there could be a problem.
Drew isn’t known for playing fair, so he might change the rules and insist Alexis will have to score custody for Willow to keep their deal in play.
Regardless, Alexis will confront Drew about their terms and could perhaps face a curveball.
Speaking of curveballs, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will face more of them in captivity.
Thanks to whatever drug Anna’s been given and the charade Pascal (Marc Forget) is pulling off, she’ll continue to believe Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) has returned for more drama.
While Anna hears Faison’s voice and gets disturbing messages, Sonny will talk to Suzanne (Jen Ray) about Willow’s verdict coming in.
It’ll lead to Sonny admitting he hopes Willow is acquitted for everyone’s sake.
Sonny will speak with Michael and learn the jury indeed came back with a not guilty verdict.
Michael will fret over ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) coming after him next, but Sonny will promise his son won’t go down for shooting Drew.
Although Michael may wonder how Sonny can be so sure, Sonny will get cryptic and make it clear that he’ll take care of it.
As for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), he’ll find himself torn on Monday’s GH episode.
Dante may have some conflicting feelings about the trial outcome and what it’ll mean for Michael moving forward.
Next, ADA Turner will threaten Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) with the possibility of prison since he helped botch the case against Willow.
However, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will gain a new perspective when it comes to Willow and her exoneration.
During a conversation with Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup), Trina will explain why she’s not entirely against Willow going free.
Back with Drew, he’ll deliver a fierce warning to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
Drew may assume Nina’s going to push Willow to divorce him now that the trial’s over, but he’ll stand firmly against that plan.
General Hospital spoilers say Drew will toss some threats around and try to put Nina in her place, so stay tuned for updates on her reaction.
Finally, Willow will no doubt be in celebratory mode over the acquittal news – even if she’s a little nervous about Drew potentially remembering her guilt at some point!
