General Hospital Friday, August 22 Update: Josslyn’s Scary Visitor – Carly’s Alarm Bells – Ava’s Real Motive

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, August 22, reveals that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will get a scary visitor while Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) sets off some alarm bells. Ava Jerome (Maura West) will also talk about her ulterior motive, so some curveballs are coming up.

First on Friday’s GH episode, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will give Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) a pep talk.

Kristina will find herself in need of some guidance and will get some encouraging words from Liz as a result.

Outside Bobbie’s, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) will also prove helpful to Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) now that she realizes she’s falling for Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).

Thanks to Michael’s advice, Molly may decide to act on her feelings.

Perhaps Molly will also want to seek Cody out and apologize since she didn’t know about Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) ordeal when they last talked.

Of course, there could be the potential for trouble now that Cody’s tempted to make a confession to Ava in the stables.

If Cody goes through with that plan, Molly might overhear and put it together that Kristina hired Cody to seduce Ava.

That could stir up too many questions and create major problems for Kristina in the end.

However, Cody may clam up instead, especially after Ava spells out her ulterior motive for coming to see him.

Ava wanted to comfort Cody over the Maxie situation, but she’ll have another reason for this visit.

No matter what Ava’s true agenda is, things could take a sizzling turn.

Cody might get swept up in the moment with Ava and just try to forget the pain of Maxie’s medical drama.

In that case, Molly could get an eyeful if she walks in the stables and finds Ava having a passionate encounter with Cody!

Whatever the case, the show should be gearing up for some cliffhanger shockers.

That goes for the storyline playing out in Dalmatia as well since Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will refuse to abandon the plan to grill Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

Despite Vaughn’s (Bryce Durfee) warnings about how dangerous all this is, Josslyn won’t want to surrender when it comes to scoring Britt’s secrets.

However, Josslyn has more surprises ahead of her since it looks like she may catch a glimpse of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) on the property.

Pascal (Marc Forget) will also show up at Josslyn and Vaughn’s door with a gun, so he’ll become another disturbing visitor.

As for Britt, she’ll notice Jason didn’t listen to her attempt to get rid of him.

Jason will linger at the Five Poppies Resort, so Britt will hang around watching him and get scolded by Pascal as a result.

Back in Port Charles, Carly will have some troubling updates for Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), so we’ll see if that’s about Maxie’s health news or perhaps Josslyn’s crumbling cover story.

Regardless, Brennan will step up for Carly on one condition and play dumb about everything he’s hiding.

At GH, Willow will have a significant favor to ask, so who will she turn to for assistance?

Could it be Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) or someone else who’s proven supportive lately?

As for Nina, she’ll have a stairwell meeting with Ric Lansing (Ric Hearst) and spell out their latest Drew issue.

Now that Drew is manipulating gullible Willow again, Nina will strategize with Ric about how to put an end to all this.
