General Hospital star Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks) delighted her social media fans with a tender post this week, and ABC fans loved it. But, some of her followers were scratching their heads a little about the man in her photo. Read on for more details.
A Sweet Photo
The actress took to her Instagram on Thursday with a sweet picture. The image captured a close-up of a man sitting in a chair and he looked as if he was reading a script. Meanwhile, Eden crouched behind him. In the affectionate photo, Eden’s chin rested on his shoulder.
In her caption, Eden McCoy wrote a short and sweet message, saying, “Love me some Jonny.”
While a lot of GH fans readily understood what was going on, a single baffled ABC follower in the comments wrote, “Do Tell … what this?” Other viewers quickly provided the answer, with one clarifying, “Her boyfriend Jonathan Heit.”
The Hard Launch Last year
Eden McCoy is the girlfriend of the actor-turned-art-gallerist Jonathan Heit. The lovebirds came out with their relationship for the first time in June 2024. At the time, Heit made a birthday tribute to her that was filled with love and shared it on social media.
Earlier this year, the real-life Josslyn Jacks appeared on the State of Mind podcast with Maurice Benard. At the time, she spoke about the loss of her mom. And, she revealed that Jonathan is very supportive. Elaborating more, she came across as if they have a very balanced relationship. Additionally, they learned that giving each other a bit of space helps them to stay in love.
Different From On-Screen
The loving nature of their relationship seems starkly contrasted with her role on General Hospital. Fans know that Josslyn and Dex Heller’s on-again, off-again romance seemed doomed to forever fall apart. Sadly, he was killed off in the show. Fortunately, in real life it seems that Eden doesn’t have that sort of problem to deal with when it comes to Johnny.
Jonathan Heit has a little Hollywood in him too. The young Heit once had a very minor and uncredited role in GH in 2006. In addition to that, his fans can see him in other movies like Bedtime Stories. Nowadays, he made the switch to the art scene where he directs his own business, Heit Gallery, which he started up in 2014.
Apparently, they started out as friends, and then it grew into something better. Often, they share bits of their lives with their followers on social media, and fans appreciate that a lot.
