General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that while it’s been over a year since Sam McCall met her demise, her portrayer, Kelly Monaco, was recently spotted in the audience at the Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) 20th Anniversary special.
The big event aired on Tuesday, November 11, and DWTS whooped it up by bringing back a slew of past contestants, hosts, and dancers to help them celebrate over two decades of being on the air.
For General Hospital fans who may not remember, Kelly Monaco was the inaugural winner of DWTS, Season 1, when the reality show first aired in 2005.
The soap actress was also a part of Season 15 in 2012.
The DWTS Instagram handle uploaded a collage of photos with past contestants who were invited to be a part of the special episode’s audience, and Monaco was included in the post.
Monaco sat next to Olympic Skater, Kristi Yamaguchi, who scored the win during Season 6, in 2008.
In addition, fellow GHer, Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain), was also invited to join the audience, as he participated in Season 5 of the reality TV series, circa 2007.
With that said, DWTS’ 20th Anniversary episode offered some incredible highlights, including the returns of the original six “dancing pros” Ashly DelGrosso, Alec Mazo, Charlotte Jørgensen, Jonathan Roberts, Louis van Amstel, and Edyta Sliwinska.
In addition, original host Tom Bergeron, who made a shocking exit in 2019, came back for the big show as a special guest judge.
Finally, there was a heartfelt tribute to the late Len Goodman, who was a beloved judge on DWTS for years, as well as other celebrity dancers who have passed away.
General Hospital recently “remembered” Sam during their Halloween episodes, as the heroine passed away on the scariest night of the year, due to a fatal injection of digitalis at the hands of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) joined the “Davis Girls”, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), on an episode last week, as the ladies shared good memories with the girl about her mom.
General Hospital spoilers remind fans that while Sam is gone, no one ever truly meets their demise, so will she ever return to Port Charles? Only time will tell.
