General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that at least five characters will suffer without Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) around. Steve Burton’s departure will hit these PC residents the hardest once his Jason hiatus begins, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
1) Britt
For starters, we should talk about Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) since her relationship with Jason will be derailed by Burton’s GH exit.
Britt and Jason have already been facing more than enough romantic obstacles, but another one is on the way since Burton will be gone for multiple months.
Britt’s going to face more heartbreak and loneliness when she’s already dealing with so much Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) project drama.
No matter how Jason is written out, Britt’s going to struggle without him.
2) Danny
Of course, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) will have a tough time without his dad in the picture.
It’s been difficult enough for Danny to cope with the loss of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), but now he’ll be losing Jason somehow, too.
If Jason is presumed deceased or at least missing, that’s going to take a toll on Danny.
Since Danny has lived through Jason’s “death” before, it’ll be even harder if he has to go through it again – especially with Sam gone.
3) Carly
We can’t forget about Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) since she’s always going to have a close bond with Jason.
Jason is Carly’s BFF, so she’ll be deeply affected by whatever happens to cause his upcoming hiatus.
After things blow up with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), Carly won’t have Jason to lean on.
That’s going to be a challenge for Carly, so stay tuned for updates on the bad news that’s headed her way.
4) Sonny
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is counting on Jason to get rid of Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) once Britt’s meds situation gets sorted out.
Sadly, Jason will leave Sonny down a hitman and could make him vulnerable to Cullum’s next attack instead!
Jason’s exit may force Sonny to seek help elsewhere when it comes to going up against Cullum and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
5) Josslyn
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is another character who could be deeply affected by Jason’s departure.
Jason won’t be around to save Josslyn if she gets in over her head with all the WSB mayhem, so Josslyn could face some truly dangerous disasters.
General Hospital spoilers say Steve Burton has wrapped filming for now and claims he’ll be back in the summer, but there’ll be a trail of Jason-related destruction left behind in the meantime.
