Some think that Josh has found love in prison, and it’s not with his wife Anna Duggar. Keep reading to find out more.
Josh Duggar Tries To Overturn His Sentence
Josh Duggar is currently serving a 12 1/2 years prison sentence for receipt of child pornography. He has tried several times to get out of his prison sentence. He attempted an appeal. That didn’t go anywhere, so no, the reality star is trying to have his conviction overturned. The 54-page motion he recently filed with the federal court system alleges evidence that would help his case was knowingly excluded. In addition, Duggar alleges that testimonies given during his trial were false or unsubstantiated.

Josh Duggar also claims that other people had access to the computer where the child pornography was found. He also asserts Department of Justice expert presented “manipulated forensic data” during the trial. A source has now revealed some more information about Duggar’s life in prison. The source says:
“He gets visits from a woman who believes he was set up by his employee. She wants to marry him. I fear something will happen to his wife (Anna) because of how much she wants to marry him.”

Josh Duggar’s Mystery Visitor Wants Anna Out
Josh Duggar has not spoken publicly about these claims. It seems he is more focused on overturning his case. Fans have spoken out about the claims. Many were concerned for Duggar’s wife, Anna. Josh and Anna have been married since September 2008. Anna chose to remain with her husband despite his conviction for possession of child pornography. The couple shares 7 children. Fans are worried about the impact this mysterious woman will have on the family. They said:
- “Yep, that woman will be the devil trying his best to bring Joshy down. They’ll just have to pray more.
- Josh will leave Anna for this woman. He’s already “ruined” so taking it one step further won’t matter. For now though, he’s going to stay with Anna because he needs money from her for commissary.”
- “I’m not sure he will. I can see him promising to this woman to leave Anna so he can use her for money but never actually going through with it. I think he still wants to keep “access” to Anna.”
Josh Duggar may be getting visits and money from a woman other than his wife while he is in federal prison. However, he still doesn’t have enough money for legal representation. He is representing himself in his most recent effort to have his sentence overturned. In addition, he has close to ten years left in his sentence to serve.
