The Daytime Emmy Winner Talked About His Experience Filming “Monsters”
It’s genuinely challenging to understand it fully since it’s such an unusual experience. To begin with, we invested a tremendous amount of effort into the show, so witnessing how deeply it resonated with others in a way that truly mattered to them was special.
They felt a connection, if not with the Menendez family directly, then certainly with the trauma they endured and developed a sense of empathy for it; that was impressive. Additionally, I often think back on how amazing this experience was for me as well”, being a totally different experience from GH.
Chavez Talked About All His “Firsts”
“I experienced numerous firsts, but collaborating with such an incredible cast on challenging material was truly exciting-each day, I had to rise to that challenge, which was pretty amazing.
Honestly, so much has transformed. When I reflect on my life from a year or two ago, it feels like a completely different world, making it tough to pinpoint just one specific change.
However, I am incredibly thankful that everything turned out well (Laughs); entering the acting world, you often feel uncertain, and perhaps some family members question your choices, asking, “Are you sure?” So, I’m really pleased that things unfolded the way they did.
Viewers Of The ABC Soap Will Remember Him As Spencer Cassadine
General Hospital viewers, of course remember Nicholas as the second iteration of Spencer Cassadine about a year after the third Nikolas Cassadine, (originally the late Tyler Christopher) returned. He was the son of Nikolas (Marcus Coloma, most recently Adam Huss) and the late Courtney Matthews (Alicia Leigh Willis) who died giving him birth. A hugely popular supercouple evolved over a long storyline arc when Spencer was paired with Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla, then Tabyana Ali), a large fanbase still demanding the return of ‘Sprina’.
As many characters on the ABC soap have, Spencer is currently presumed dead although his remains were never found, after being attacked by Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) also presumed dead. It remains a mystery whether the character, or both characters, will return from the dead or not, as they have over the years on GH.
