AMBUSH HORROR Good Samaritan ‘nearly beaten to death’ after stopping to help crashed driver & suffers ‘brain bleed and broken ribs’
A GOOD Samaritan who stopped to help at a car crash was nearly beaten to death in a shocking attack.
The man later said he sustained a brain bleed and broken ribs after the alleged assault, which was captured in a harrowing video.
Hans Hamilton, 46, was driving on a Florida highway near Disney World on Monday when he noticed a white Lexus crashed into the guardrail.
Video captured from Hamilton’s Tesla shows a man stumble out of the car and onto the grass.
But as Hamilton pulls over and starts to leave his car, the man leapt up and jumped on the roof and hood of the Tesla, shattering the windshield.
Video from the Tesla then shows the man repeatedly hitting Hamilton in the head, face, neck and back.

Hamilton then hit the man in the throat to get him to stop, he told CBS affiliate WKMG.
“This person tried to kill me,” Hamilton said.
“I don’t want anyone else to go through what I did.”
He set up a GoFundMe to cover medical costs and car repair payments for damage sustained during the attack.

But even when Hamilton broke free, the terror didn’t end.
A deputy showed up at the scene soon after and identified the suspect as 44-year-old Daniel Coman.
When the deputy attempted to put Coman under arrest, the alleged attacker approached in “aggressive fighting manner” and “began swinging his left hand as if he was going to strike,” according to an arrest affidavit.
He also told law enforcement that he only spoke Spanish, despite speaking in English to Hamilton earlier.
Hamilton and another bystander held Coman’s hands down so the deputy could cuff him
He was arrested on charges of battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer with violence, assault on a law enforcement officer, battery and criminal mischief.
Officials suspect Coman was also involved in a “similar criminal mischief incident” that morning, and was being investigated by the Florida Highway Patrol for a separate hit-and-run crash two miles south.
Hamilton was transported to a hospital after the attack, where he said he was treated for a brain bleed, a concussion, multiple contusions, and four broken ribs.
