News has come out that an actor known for his work on Grey’s Anatomy recently lost his life in a car accident. He was 46 years old at the time of his passing. A soap star has also taken to social media to share their condolences over the news.
The Actor Was Known For Various Roles Off & On Camera
The actor has lost their life in a traffic accident in Los Angeles on September 15, 2025. Their death had been announced by a public relations firm from the same city.
During his career, the actor, described as a Virginia native, had appeared in a multitude of famous shows. This included Grey’s Anatomy, Charmed, and Boy Meets World.
On social media, the actor was identified by PAL Public Relations as Brad Everett Young. The post highlighted Brad for a variety of hats he wore over the years.
In addition to his work as an actor, “Brad was the founder and driving force behind Dream Loud Official, a campaign born from his conviction that every child deserves access to music and art programs in schools. He dedicated countless hours, passion, and creativity to restoring and preserving these vital components of education, believing that the arts are not a luxury, but a necessity.”
A General Hospital Alum Also Shared Their Condolences On Facebook
The post also highlighted Young’s creativity. It shared that he was a photographer as well an an actor. As the post continued, “Brad was a fixture at Hollywood events, red carpets, premieres, galas, industry parties, and charity functions. He had an eye that could capture both the glitz of celebrity and the quiet humanity behind the flash.”
Young appeared on Grey’s Anatomy in 2008 during the show’s fifth season. On the episode, he played an appendectomy patient.
Other shows Young appeared on include Felicity, Beverly Hills, 90210, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and 90210. He also appeared in films like Charlie’s Angels, Jurassic Park III, and The Artist.
The Hollywood Reporter also shared some additional information about Young’s death. According to his publicist Paul Christensen, Young was driving alone after watching a movie. He was then struck by a vehicle going the wrong direction. Young passed away at the scene. The other driver survived and was hospitalized.
Since the news of his passing, General Hospital‘s Parry Shen took to Facebook to share their condolences over the matter. The post read, “Brad Everett Young was one of the kindest & generous people I have ever met. But the one trait that made him truly stand out in this business often filled with cynicism, was his indomitable positivity.”
“A huge, huge loss. To those who met him at our events, you know. Rest in peace, friend.”
