General Hospital Tuesday, August 19 Update: Lucas Scrambles to Save Maxie – Michael & Sonny’s Surprise Team

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 19, reveals that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) will fear the worst while a surprise team forms to help Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his son. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) will also scramble to save Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), so here’s what GH fans can look forward to.

Michael knows he messed up by letting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) provoke him into delivering a blow to his rival’s face.

Now Drew could have Michael arrested, which could put his custody win at risk.

Michael will sit down with Sonny and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) to discuss what legal moves he can make.

Diane will make it clear that the situation is serious, so Michael will definitely worry about everything he stands to lose.

However, good news is brewing since ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) will make a pitch to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Justine is basically “Team Sonny” now that she’s seen ruthless Drew in action, so she’ll want to partner up with Anna against Drew.

Although Anna will briefly worry Justine could be trapping her somehow, she’ll eventually agree they’re on the same page.

Neither one of them wants Drew to emerge victorious in this situation, so ADA Turner and Anna will work to block him somehow.

Despite Drew’s announcement about being a crime victim, he’ll end up furious in the coming episodes.

Drew will inevitably throw a temper tantrum when things won’t work out exactly how he anticipated!

By the Metro Court pool, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will find themselves in familiar territory.

That’s because Carly and Nina have a major showdown ahead of them.

Carly will push Nina to see that it’s her own fault Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is in this predicament.

If Nina had just come clean about her passionate encounters with Drew from the get-go, Willow could’ve shut down their romance early on.

There’ll be some truth to Carly’s words, but Nina will still lash out in a big way!

Whenever Nina and Carly are in the same vicinity, there are usually going to be fireworks.

At the Home and Heart studio, paramedics will be called to the scene.

Maxie will be taken to GH right away, so Lucas will be in charge of her care once she arrives.

Maxie will be in bad shape following what seems to be a tainted face cream crisis, but Lucas will fight hard for her survival.

In Dalmatia, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will put Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) through an interrogation about how she’s alive.

Britt managed to pull through after facing Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) poisoned hook, so Jason will want to hear that story.

In Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) and Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) room, they’ll shake off the emotional moment they just shared and concentrate on the task they’re facing.

Britt could be the key to uncovering some very revealing Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard) project updates, so Josslyn will be determined to grill her.
