Fans Are Angry It’s Becoming The ‘Sonny’ Show Again
That’s because they are quite angry that the hit ABC soap is slowly but surely becoming the ‘Sonny’ show again.
That’s because he’s being tied into every single storyline and needless to say, many viewers are simply over it. They want to see fresh content and of course, fresh faces on the show instead. But for some reason, that’s just not happening.
As our loyal readers can imagine, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some even commented with, “I like Sonny. But having everyone connected to him got old real fast for me. Gio. Natalia. Now Sidwell. Now we will end up in his bed. Though a DA going after a mobster is reasonable lol.”
“But yes, every single sl has had Donny or Kristina thrown in it. Funny how the Drew one, which involves Michael, isn’t as Sonny heavy. It’s not even really Carly heavy! Jason maybe but that makes sense.”
What’s Next For Sonny Corinthos?
Another critic of the show wrote, “I was so happy about Sonny’s heart problem. Then I was unrealistically optimistic about his leaving the mob. Now I’m scrolling my phone.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Oh, lord General Hospital is turning into the Sonny show again. I didn’t watch much during those years.”
“Please don’t start this back up again now. It’s wild how they took Sidwell, who was clearly supposed to be an enemy of Lucky, The writers sideline Lucky and changed it to fit Sonny’s narrative.”
So far the producers of the show have not made any comments about the criticism they’ve received.
It goes without saying that General Hospital fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
