Following Todd and Julie Chrisley’s Presidential pardon and release from prison, they were caught in a whirlwind of rumors.
Now, Savannah Chrisley is addressing rumors that her mother attempted to avoid court proceedings by faking breast cancer to avoid court proceedings.
Savannah Chrisley has been taking it upon herself to clear up rumors about her parents following their release from prison.
On the latest episode of her podcast, Unlocked, Savannah got fiery when discussing rumors that her mother had faked her breast cancer diagnosis.
“I really want to address something,” she began her statement.
She recalled seeing some comments on her social media that left her feeling disturbed.
“I saw where someone commented that, you know, my family was this fraud and were terrible human beings, X Y Z, and how my mother faked her breast cancer diagnosis,” Savannah recalled on her podcast.
“So I was literally dumbfounded to see the accusations that were being made. ‘Apparently, she faked her breast cancer diagnosis to avoid court proceedings,’ was what this individual said. And let’s take it back.”
Savannah took the time to set the record straight.
“She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012. They weren’t federally or criminally charged till 2019,” she stated.
“So that right there completely debunks your whole theory.”
