‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) needs to think twice before accusing Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) of knowing that Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) is her and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) son.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Lulu Appeared Awfully Smug And Happy For Someone Supposedly So Concerned For Dante
On the May 15th episode of GH, Lulu confided in Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) about Brook Lynn having a baby when she was a teenager and giving the child up for adoption.
We may be wrong here, but didn’t Cody already know Brook Lynn got pregnant after her and Dante’s summer romance at camp?
He seemed genuinely shocked that Brook Lynn was even pregnant before. According to Thursday’s episode of GH, all Cody knew was that Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) were in the process of adopting a child.
However, we could have sworn Brook Lynn had told Cody about the baby she gave up when she was a teenager. Consistency and common sense go a long way.
This is the problem with rewrites. There is no way to keep track of the events that exist within the soap if the show is constantly changing history. But, we digress.
We can envision Lulu playing Nancy Drew with her new sidekick, Cowboy Cody, and them gathering proof that Gio really belongs to Brook Lynn and Dante.
Then, Lulu, who will probably execute the big reveal at the Nurses Ball, will bring Dante and Brook Lynn together only to make sure he hears that Brook Lynn is a liar.
Lulu looked awfully smug and proud of herself for her discovery that the adoption agency Brook Lynn supposedly gave her baby to had been closed since the late 80s.
We wanted to smack that smug smile right off Lulu’s face when she was sharing her newfound intel with Cody. It was honestly offensive.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Lulu Wants Dante To Hate Brook Lynn As Much As She Does
Lulu will no doubt attack Brook Lynn and try to convince Dante that Brook Lynn knew about Gio the whole time.
However, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) is the one who lied to Brook Lynn about Gio. It’s evident to us that Lulu really isn’t doing this for the right reasons, or else she wouldn’t have been so gleeful about her findings.
She’s on a mission to make Dante hate Brook Lynn as much as she does because they share a child, and Dante had never told Lulu they even hooked up before.
Lulu admitted to Dante that she’s jealous of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), you know, the woman who selflessly gave her a portion of her liver to Lulu so that she could live, only to die with Dante’s engagement ring on her finger.
Maybe Lulu is harboring jealousy toward Brook Lynn as well. It’s honestly sad for her to awaken from a four-year coma, expecting that the world stopped and waited for her while she was getting her beauty sleep.
Lulu is someone who can’t let go of the past. She’s still angry with Brook Lynn for a stunt she pulled back when Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) paid Brook Lynn to break up Lulu and Dante a million years ago.
Brook Lynn kept her teenage pregnancy a secret because it was a very personal and painful experience for her. She never deliberately set out to lie to Dante.
We can only surmise that when Lulu tells Dante about Gio, she’ll make sure Brook Lynn is right there for her to accuse Brook Lynn right in front of Dante and not feel the least bit guilty when she learns Brook Lynn had no idea about Gio.
