General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, May 1, indicate that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will spell out the evidence for Cassius Faison aka fake Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) while Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) world gets turned upside down.
Someone will also rush to Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) defense, so here’s what viewers can expect.
In Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) office, he’ll be Jason’s biggest defender on Friday’s episode.
Sonny may choose to stay optimistic about Jason getting out of this criminal nightmare, but Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) will argue the WSB could lock him up forever.
At GH, Cassius will push Britt to prove Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is a WSB agent, so she may recap all the Five Poppies drama and Josslyn’s role in how it all went down.
Britt might even point out that Josslyn recently went as far as pushing her to kill Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) in his ICU bed!
Although Brennan put Josslyn on sleeper status, that clearly hasn’t stopped her from investigating.
Once Britt gets Cassius to see that Josslyn is a threat, he’ll decide to go deal with her.
After Josslyn bails on an evening with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), she’ll face some tense moments with “Nathan.”
Josslyn will be taken aback as “Nathan’s” claws come out, so look for him to manhandle her and deliver a fierce warning to stand down.
Back at the hospital, Brick (Stephen A. Smith) will put a smile on Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) face when he shows up with a bouquet and some flirtatious jokes.
As for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), she’ll be a bundle of nerves on Friday’s show.
The longer Brook Lynn keeps quiet about being the other driver the night of Jordan’s crash, the more stressed she’ll get.
Meanwhile, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will thrill Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) with some information he passes along, so this may be about the romantic getaway they want to take together.
Back with Sonny, he’ll want to talk to Britt and perhaps spill some news.
This will no doubt involve Jason in some way and might even relate to Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) now that he’s helping in Jason’s absence.
Jason never would’ve abandoned Britt if he hadn’t been forced to.
Sonny might feel obligated to protect Britt while Jason’s gone and may think Ethan could pitch in.
In Carly’s kitchen, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will speak with Carly about someone he believes may have useful Cullum intel.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) might know things that could help with Cullum’s takedown, so Valentin may revisit the idea of speaking to her in person.
Although Anna’s mental health is obviously an issue, Valentin might think he could get through to her and help her see that she’s Cullum’s victim.
Carly may insist it’s too risky before things heat up with Valentin once again.
Valentin and Carly move their evening to the bedroom – just in time for Brennan to arrive ready to catch Carly and her mystery man!
