Duggar News readers recently learned that Joseph Duggar was facing charges of “lewd and lascivious” behavior with a 9-year-old girl. This came after a 14-year-old talked about what Joseph did to her during a 2020 vacation in Panama City Beach. She claimed that the noted Duggar touched her in an inappropriate way and even allegedly asked her to sit on his lap.
Well, as soon as this confession came out, the victim’s father confronted Joseph about his deeds. The Bay County Sheriff’s Office claimed that Joseph had confessed to having this behavior in the past and had even apologized. As per the current scenario, Joseph is in custody and currently awaits extradition to Bay County, Florida.

Joseph was in disbelief and claimed he didnt know how Josh was “living such a secret life.” He even told the world that all this “broke” his “heart.” Joseph only talked about Josh during a December episode in 2015 and chose to stay silent during the latter’s trial and other procedures. These comments actually came after Josh first confessed to molesting young girls. He admitted that even his sisters, Jill and Jessa, were his victims.
However, the tables have completely turned now, and Joseph’s sister is speaking against him. She and Derick recently issued a strong statement and condemned his act. They prayed for justice and supported the victim of her brother’s alleged molestation charge. Jill and Derick further hoped that justice would be served and made it clear that they were with the law.
