General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) could be headed down an exciting romantic path. The show may be casting some male characters to revamp the Port Charles love scene according to insider leaks, so Josslyn could be affected by that news.
It’s definitely been a while since Josslyn had a proper love interest.
Although Josslyn had a bit of a fling with S. Vaughn (Bryce Durfee), he wasn’t really a great match for her.
Vaughn was arguably too old for Josslyn and was forbidden from being with her due to their WSB careers.
Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) knew it’d be too complicated, so he stood in the way of Vaughn and Josslyn’s romance.
Since Josslyn and Vaughn defied Brennan’s orders, Jack retaliated by sending Vaughn off canvas.
Of course, Vaughn was never really a proper love interest for Josslyn like Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) was anyway.
Josslyn fell hard for Dex and might still be together with him right now if he’d survived.
Sadly, Dex’s life was cut short thanks to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), but Josslyn’s had plenty of time to grieve that loss.
Josslyn has been throwing herself into WSB investigations and taking big risks, but what about her love life?
Does Josslyn have a void that still needs to be filled?
No one will ever truly replace Dex in Josslyn’s heart, but the show can certainly replace him with a fresh love interest.
Since some new guys are apparently joining GH, maybe one of them will turn out to be for Josslyn.
It’s possible the show’s making an effort to test Eden McCoy’s chemistry with someone and kick off another love story for her character.
All the WSB drama has been fun, but it’ll get old fast if that’s all the show chooses to focus on.
Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) has Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup), so Josslyn deserves a love interest to move forward with, too.
